You don’t need to have your own camera, though it’s great if you already do. We can provide a camera for use during the course for extra fees. If you have your own digital underwater camera, feel free to bring it along, and your instructor can help you make the most of it.
Yes, action cameras like GoPro can be used for this course. The principles of underwater photography still apply, and you’ll learn how to adjust your settings to get the best shots with your action camera. However, the course also covers traditional underwater digital cameras with strobes, which may provide more flexibility for serious photography.
