Description

The Adventure Diver course is designed to give you a taste of different specialty dives — from mastering your buoyancy to navigating underwater landscapes or photographing marine life. Whether you’re interested in underwater exploration, marine ecology, or just want to refine your skills, this course offers something for everyone.

It’s also the perfect stepping stone if you’re planning to continue on to the Advanced Open Water Diver certification later on.

The Adventure Diver course includes:

3 Adventure Dives – You’ll choose three specialty dives from a wide range of options. Each dive is a supervised experience that introduces you to the basic theory and skills of that specialty.
Knowledge Reviews – Each adventure dive includes a short knowledge development session, which can be completed via PADI eLearning or in person with your instructor.

You can complete the course in just one day, making it ideal for short holidays or weekend training.

What is the PADI Adventure Diver Course?

The PADI Adventure Diver course is a one-day program that lets certified Open Water Divers explore new types of diving. You’ll complete three adventure dives of your choice, each introducing a different specialty, like buoyancy control, navigation, or drift diving.

What is the difference between Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver?

The Adventure Diver certification is a subset of the Advanced Open Water Diver course. While the Adventure Diver includes 3 dives, the Advanced Open Water includes 5 (including Deep and Navigation, which are mandatory). If you complete the Adventure Diver course now, you can upgrade later by simply adding two more dives.

Do I need to complete any theory?

Yes! Once you complete the course, you’ll receive the PADI Adventure Diver certification card. This shows that you’ve gained experience in three specialty areas of diving.

Can I credit these dives toward other certifications?

Absolutely! Each of the adventure dives you complete can count toward the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course, and they also count toward the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Great Diving Center! It is really amazing not just in offering boat diving in the main Red Sea's diving areas. They are so well organised: more teams each of them having very competent member of staff at each other ch level /skills. The main focus is offering the great experience as safest as possible so Divers might be asked sometimes to be tested to avoid further risk in group diving.
